Free wifi and flat-screen TV made my stay enjoyable. No pets allowed was a plus.

The cleaning was consistent and made me feel comfortable.

The air conditioning was ineffective during the heat wave, and the lack of elevator was a serious inconvenience, especially with heavy luggage. The noise level was quite disruptive, making sleep difficult. Unfortunately, I had to reconcile with the fact that I booked in such a loud area without understanding how impactful it would be.

I had an amazing view of the Duomo if I leaned out of my window slightly. The lady who runs the place was so welcoming and took the time to show me many places on the map that made a big difference to my trip.

It wasn’t exactly cheap, but it was still acceptable for the experience.

The location stood out, just a five-minute walk from the Duomo. The room offered a charming view that transformed from day to night, really adding to the experience. I appreciated the attention to detail, with stylish decor and small personal touches throughout. Luisa, the owner, greeted me warmly, was incredibly helpful, and seemed genuinely invested in making my stay pleasant. She even helped navigate local attractions. The complimentary breakfast at nearby cafes was delightful, featuring fresh pastries and delicious coffee. However, the absence of an elevator was a hassle with heavy luggage, especially on arrival. The shower in my room had some drainage issues briefly, but the staff addressed it quickly. Air conditioning struggled a bit in the heat, which could be tough during hot days. Room size was compact, but I found it manageable. Next time, I might opt for a room with a larger space.

We stayed for 2 nights and loved the view from our balcony overlooking the Duomo. It was pretty awesome to enjoy coffee at the cafe just below while soaking in the atmosphere. The stairs were a workout, though, especially with our bags. The room was cozy and well-kept, but could use a little more space in the bathroom.

We had a fantastic time exploring Florence, with everything from the Duomo to charming cafes just a short walk away. Our host, Luisa, was amazing, offering great insights on family-friendly spots. The kids loved the pastries in the cozy café nearby.

For dads, it would be great if there were more space for our family's needs.
